Cee Füllemann’s works highlight an economy of proximity and relations that resist dominant structures. Their recent researches are exploring forms of intimacies and present them as fundamental approaches to create a space for collaborative work and shared knowledge. Working at the intersection of performance and sculpture, they are interested in emphasizing the experience of material as living organisms.

FORMS AND LOVERS
When I stare at the sun between the palm tree leaves, the shapes and the shadows dance.
The sunlight blinds my eyes.
The Forms embody matter and emotion. Discernible and accessible objects, they are the fruit of a gestural process. They suggest visual shape and balance, in the disguise of common imagery, to activate the viewer’s perception. They are a sensual interaction with the exterior.
The Lovers are the Forms’ essence. They are the life content of the Forms’ language. Through the experience of interacting with bodies, the Lovers radiate free insight and interpretation.
The Lovers are unformed. They are dancing. They are primitive energy.
Forms and Lovers breathe together to stimulate a conscious representation of object and emotion.
The space of meeting is a field of feelings.
Sometimes I’m awaiting an earthquake, so that I can experience the powerful and the unexpected. The breaking of earth’s plates, to reach the core.
Playful bridges are cheerfully connecting the viewers and objects through the spawn of activation.
The Forms develop a preference for travesty and disguise while the Lovers try to liberate their costumes, in the quest for free movement. The concept comes to life by way of the viewer’s presence and incitement.
The work is an invitation to generate new awareness. The accessibility of the work creates a phenomenological involvement, like dolphins swimming in the water.
